Lord of the Rings- The trilogy

Much have been said and done about this eternal (literally and metaphorically) trilogy that will forever stay in the minds of millions of people who saw it and in the history of film making.
Let me paste the beginning of the script, in the voice of Galadriel, an Elf witch, that summarizes clearly what adventure is ahead of us, and of course ahead of our lovely, lovely main character, Frodo and his friends.

GALADRIEL (V.O.)
It began with the forging of the Great
Rings.
Three were given to the Elves, immortal,
wisest...fairest of all beings.

Seven to the Dwarf Lords, great miners
and craftsmen of the mountain halls.

And Nine...nine rings were gifted to the
race of Men who, above all else, desire
power.
For within these rings was bound the
strength and will to govern each race.
But they were all of them deceived.
...for another ring was made.
In the land of Mordor, in the fires of
Mount Doom, the Dark Lord Sauron forged
in secret a Master Ring to control all
others. ...and into this Ring he poured his
dominate all life.
cruelty, his malice and his will to
One Ring to rule them all...
One by one the Free lands of Middle earth
fell to the power of the ring.
But there were some...who resisted.

A last alliance of Men and Elves marched
against the armies of Mordor.
On the slopes of Mount Doom they fought
for the freedom of Middle- Earth.

There.
With such a beginning we know that we are in for numerous battles including all races, and
much strive and struggle to finally, destroy that one ring.
The cast is impecable, the story is excellent, the production is huge, but I mean HUUUUGE, and none of this would have been possible without the unearthly imagination and writing skills of J.R.R. Tolkien.
